A team of Egyptian archaeologists have discovered in the archeological site of Luxor, near the temple of Karnak, a port belonging to the User's tomb, one of the advisers of Queen-Pharaoh Hatshepsut (1508 BC - 1458 BC)
The majestic red granite specimen measuring 1.75 meters high and one meter wide. The engravings on its surface show religious texts and titles of the User, in addition to being director of Hatshepsut was also a royal prince and vizier.
This kind of doors, also known as "false doors" were an architectural feature typical of the Egyptian empire. Made of stone or wood depicting a symbolic door, whose magical properties allow the soul of the deceased to pass into the realm of the dead and also of returning to the realm of the living.
